Killer Set up! Also I love the LPS on Softies once again! SPS are cool but honestly I think the SPS dominated tank craze is a bit over rated. Dont get me wrong I want and love SPS but im saying I get tired of all the SPS dominated tanks all over the place. A good LPS reef or nice mix is a welcome change.August 2015

Hmm...it is a start Tank is actually in the house, on a stand, and will come back and update plumbing complete with sump hopefully this weekend. This should get me back on track and re-focused.

Hmm...it is a start
Hmm...Jan 18? Ok, since then I started the tanks cycle in February 2018 (fishless) and it completed in March 2018. I was busy with work traveling and didn't really get back to it until April 15th 2018. I started the skimmer, lights somewhere around April 1st then moved my 40 breeder into it on the 15th of April. Have to say hind sight being 20/20 I wouldn't use, nor recommend. dry rock. I moved over four 6 to 12" hammer colonies and 10 rose bubble tip anemones of which 4 RBTA's never seemed to like the new tank and the hammers slowly melted away to just a single tiny frag that I have left. Even a large Kenya tree I had slowly faded. I believe that most if it was due to the dry Pukani slowly aging while also leaching a lot of phosphates. Also a year later ran into a serious GHA outbreak that didn't help.
Also I would like to thank the poster above me @Troy V - you are the one person who inspired me to purchase a clam after I did a lot of research on it. I ended up talking to Dr. Mac at Pacific East Aquaculture and picked up a Maxima not to long ago. I really enjoy it. It is about 3 1/2" in size and everyone loves it. I decided to go with smaller clams
