Bored with the Reef....

It's kinda hard to describe, but pretty bored with it. Don't get me wrong I'm not letting it suffer or anything. Still doing water changes maintenance restocking my fish livestock. I've even started selling some frags haven't done so in forever.

I believe it's because it's on cruse control now. I've got all the equipment I've wanted and it's exactly where I want it. It's just growing out. In fact I've been thinking about getting a AFS and then it will be even soo much more hands off. I still hang out on the couch and look over it and drift off its great at knocking me out when I can't take a power nap. I dont know it's hard to explain.

How can I rekindle the flame? I've contemplated re-aquascaping but I feel that it will only be a temporary fix. I take good care of it but just don't feel the same way about it.

Why not set up a tank and try breeding inverts or something most people don't attempt. Like blue leg hermits or peppermint shrimp. I've got books on both of those I want to try when I get a larger tank set up and on cruise again.

I went over there last night. One reason for being bored is that he only scrapes the glass every Friday. I would be bored too if I couldnt see inside my tank...:squigglemouth:
