New stand looks nice. Did you decide what direction you are going with your lighting? I like the kessils personally, but if it were on me, i would keep the T5's and add reefbrite strips

No I'm so confused with the lights I want to go with, I personally hate the 8 bulb tel fixture, can't find a good bulb combo I like and its expensive to play the color game, I will use 4 blue + regardless of what let light I use. Either the kessil or radions at this point

Been a long time since I updated this, alot has changed! Yesterday removed all my rocks and sand and got rid of it to replace with 40 pounds of crushed coral mixed with 40 pounds of aragonite, was sick of all the sand stormed caused by having to fine grade of sand. Needless to say after 6 hours my tank is finally where I want it and the new aquascape turned out incredible! Sorry for the quality of pictures only have my phone but here they are

So haven't had a chance to update this in forever!! Alot has changed and have acquired some new corals along the way. Just pulled my 40 breeder sump offline getting my Trigger Systems emerald 34 Monday with all brand new plumbing gear doing it all the correct way this time no skimping. Have had the Hydra 26's up for a while and they have been doing a pretty good job, just modified my old tek 8 bulb t5ho light by removing the 4 inner bulbs and replacing them with the two hydra 26's will upload some pictures after I go and pick up the bolts and washers I need to install them. The bulb layout front to back is going to be blue plus, coral plus, hydra 26's, aquablue special and blue plus, might replace the aquablue for either a purple plus or another blue/coral plus any input? This is just going to be a temporary fixture as I plan on making a canopy in the next week or two then going to buy a retrofit kit that will be a permanent solution and will be able to have the lights all 12 inches above the tank, the tek with the legs is about 10inches above the water line. Really hoping this is going to help with the color and growth. Will post pictures later tonight and the program for my hydra 26's once I make adjustments depending on how the t5s blend. Also will be going to my first ever frag swap this coming Saturday here in good old MN!

Well the mod is done now hopefully everything likes the change! Only gonna run the t5s from 2pm-6pm the hydras run from 10am to 10 pm with a 4 hr ramp time.

Well got the new sump all plumbed in finally and running its absolutely flawless love the design will be doing some cable management this weekend since I work nights Tuesday through Friday. Hope you enjoy also got 4 new SPS corals from the lfs.

So just got back from the TCMAS Frag swap here in MN and ended coming home with 17 new frags and 2 clowns from booyah's reef, also cleaned up some of the wires in the sumo

Been forever since I have posted anything. Alot had changed lately. I'm still running the Hydra 26s and also added a kessil a160 on the sps side. Have also added a brs frag tank and plumbed into my system. Just got a huge shipment in of some high end sps corals that are cooking out in the frag tank that's lit by an 8 bulb t5ho fixture. The corals that I have got this Tuesday are as followed. RR biohazard, VC Sunkist, RR true blood, VC purple Haze, RR Godzilla, RR Canada blue planet, PC rainbow, RR USA red bull, RR CA Kandari, JKR blue man group, RR milli Cyrus, JF flame, VC abyss, BC rainbow's in Spain, SB yellow tort, ASD rainbow milli and a WWC jawbreaker! Some pics as well
