BOT.200 - Revolutionary protein skimmer suitable for aquariums up to 1.200 l. real net water volume, with Dynamo Rotational Motion device and Sweeper included.
Equipped with a German made Aquabee 5000 water pump (dispergator pinwheel), delivering 1.200 l/h of air flow.
The concept of this skimmer is completely revolutionary. Instead of injecting the water/air mixture into a small chamber overflowing or spraying into a bigger one, the BOT series uses the whole skimmer volume for water to react with air.
A spinning device on the bottom (Dynamo) produces a mass rotational motion inside the skimmer body, increasing water/bubble contact time up to 300%. Water is then decantated into a counter-current chamber, which act both as output and water/air separator.
The vortex effect created by the Dynamo motion also forces water to recirculate inside the skimmer, with only one pump needed.
Our popular Sweeper cleaning device is included in every BOT skimmer, and is upgradable to Sweeper V2.5 (magnetic drive) at any time.
