That's right the pair of them are lazy as hell, rarely do I ever seen them grazing for algae and I'm starting to grow hair algae all over which is worrying me, it's a couple mm at the moment but I'm already concerned. Salifert test kits reads 0.03ppm of phosphates and my chaeto grows like crazy and all other water parameters are fine. On a side not my Flame Angel and Coral Beauty are real work horses, grazing all day even after feeding them pellets, flakes and frozen every day. Any tips/advice? Thanks.

Sorry have no advise on your issue ;)
But my Starry Blenny is useless to ... he is only useful for rearranging my frag plugs!!!

My starry Blenny while very cool fish, was also lazy when it came to Eating algae, I would recommend cutting back on the feedings and more frequent water changes. Also make sure your using RODI water. I've been fighting green hair also, good luck!

Yeh I will cut back on feeding to hopefully battle the algae and being a little hungry may make both blennys start grazing, water changes I do every week religiously.

They will only eat certain types of algae, ime. I'm not sure what species but you'd think they would eat gha.
