Both of my clown died

Hi! I am new to the hobby and my husband woke up this morning to find both of our clowns dead. He said they were fine last night and we have a molly that is doing okay. Our chocolate chip starfish died about a week ago (we were thinking the tank too new for it) but I am not sure what happened to the clowns. I am out of town right now so I don't know any of the water specs. Can anyone give me any pointers? Thanks!

How long has the tank been up and running? What size tank? Water source (ro/di?)? When did you add clowns? Would need to get water parameters (salinity, ammonia, nitrate).

Was the tank fully cycled? Did you monitor that the cycle completed before adding fish (see guide for details)

Current parameters for ammonia, nitrite, temperature and salinity also may help.
