Bottbit Worm

Looks like I have a bobbit worm. I was planning on soaking its rock in ro/di water to get it out. I was wondering what kind of harm to the rock, coraline, good bacteria etc will be inflicted from a freshwater soak for about fifteen 20 mins (if any). There is no coral on the rock so that's good

If your worried about the bacteria population you can try to leave the rock out of water and see if comes out on its own

Cool. Got any pics? If there are no corals, the rock should be fine.

If you get it out without harming it, there are people on here that would buy it from you. Some people keep tanks just for these guys.

there are people that will buy it or pay for it to be shipped to them. I would highly suggest finding those people and letting it live.
