Bottled bacteria: what's the difference

I just used some fritz quickstart (working so far) that came overnight with a cool pack. I also have fritz microbacteria that has a shelf life of 1 year according to the package.

Both claim to reduce nutrients from the nitrogen cycle. What's the difference? Could/should I use both?

Fritz is good seed of the good stuff.
Turn off skimmer and UV for 4-5 days when using.
Used on my latest upgrade, impressive.........thought this stuff was junk......nope.....
I’d use both, we only really need to seed at the beginning.
