Bought a 250watt MH setup need some help..

Hey guys I bought a dual 250 watt metal halide and I cannot seem to get the bulb out seems to be some kind of glue holding it in, can yall tell form this picture how it should come out? Thanks

It seems to have silicone holding it in place. Take a razor blade and cut the silicone (not you finger) out. With it being held in there like it is I would suggest leaving it in there until it needs to be replaced. If that time is now.... Good luck. I would guess that the housing cracked and the previous owner thought the silicone needed to hold the bulb in. Hopefully you can get it out without injury.

Thanks revs, I found out it was just glue to keep them from falling out during shipping, Thanks
