he closes easily when u place your hand over him but he wont fully extend....hes 5 inches and his knob is out for filtering the water any ideas?

ive had him 2 weeks....ill try to get picture...only fish i have in their are a six line wrasse skunk clown and a yellow wrasse. but nothing is picking on him .....its only the corner of him that doesnt pop out all the way

I would move it away from the zoa's and Paly's, it could be getting irritated by them. Then I would run some carbon on the tank and run it with as much flow through it as you possibly can. For the first few days change the carbon every day. Do you run any type of phosphate removal? If so take it offline for now.

I don't think it is PM, I think something is irritating it. Weather it is another critter or something in the water I am not sure. If you run the carbon it should take care of the water. I'm thinking that those Paly's may be irritating it. How long has it looked like this?
