Sorry if this was posted in the wrong section.

i currently have a 80g 48x24x18 and have been meaning to upgrade to a custom built tank. However a LFS closed down and was selling their used tanks.. I bought one with a stand for $300 and the measurements are 72x24x15. I felt fine with this purchase at first because I love the shallow reef look but now I realized it’s way shorter then what I have at home. Do you guys think it’s going to be a problem with that height or am I good to go?

thank you all!

That size tank makes for an awesome lagoon style tank. I did a mangrove/gorg/macro/Florida zoa lagoon.

here is my 84x36x15

You can make any tank dimension work, just have to balance the scape with the right live stock. Personally I like deeper tanks, regardless of how much of a PITA they are, but I've also seen some gorgeous shallow lagoon style tanks with mangroves and scape emerging from the water, etc. Very cool if done right.
