Bounce mushroom small bubbles how long till big

So I have a nickel sized og bounce and for that size it has some of smallest bubbles I’ve seen and I was just wondering how long it takes for them to get big
First pic is when I bought it 2 months ago and 2nd pic is right now

Depending on the light, some of them can lose their bubbles.

Lots of threads on this forum and others regarding “losing” the bubbles. I’m not saying that’s what is happening here but it can happen.

How do they lose them? And I don’t think any have been lost I think I’ve gotten a few more but they just don’t get that big. And my light is a hydro galaxy 165w led and I have a ecotech mp10 for flow

I have no first hand experience other than reading lots of reef threads online...... but the reports were that the bubbles shrink or go away usually in higher light.

I’m in Parkersburg.

I bought a small bounce and a kryptonite mushroom awhile back and I was so excited until my pistol shrimp stole them both and took them under the reef. ;Meh

Bounce are fast grower and veryyyyy hardy! They should be doing good unless you are not doing smthing right

Depends on lineage too,

I have 6 OG from 4 different people,

And they all look different,

Anyone ever heard of a bounce releasing the actual bubbles? Have a couple on my sand bed but they are still healthy and have good ****

As long as they don’t shrink and expel junk from the mouth you will be okay. I had a bounce and within a few weeks it stressed to where it’s shrunk down smaller then a dime and looks terrible. Perfect Parmaters tho, who would have though this mushroom is a lot tougher for me than any sps.
