Hi everyone,
I heard that peppermint shrimp would eat the bubbles off of a bounce mushroom. Does anyone know if this is true ?
I look forward to your help !

Ummm we have 2 in a 40gal breeder with numerous bounces...havent lost any bubbles yet...but we keep em feed well too...lil cannibals will yank pices of shrimp out of mushrooms mouth unless shrooms close up with shrimp

But i know all tanks are diffent...and we have another 40gal with 3 peppermints in but no bubbles bounces in there most ricordas and zoas

I hate peppermints, i had 4 in my tank (aptasia problem) and they ate my acans, 2 really nice favia, ricordea and a few others. It's not like they were hungry as i'm a heavy feeder, they are the spawn of the devil.
I hear a lot of people having problems with them while others keep them and they are perfectly behaved.

I ended up with aptasia in one of my frag tanks and that is why I ended up with peppermints. It sounds like anything is possible and maybe I should just take them out.
Thanks !

Knock on wood we got lucky with our peppermints

My two peppermint shrimp had attacked the mushroom the moment I put the bounce mushroom in the frag tank. Mind you they do not atttack anything else...Zoas, Gonis, ricordeas, LPS....

needless to say, peppermint is gone.
