Bounce shroom attachment

Got what I think is a bounce shroom from the lfs. Wasn’t attached to anything. I’m using a rubber band to get it to attach. Can this damage the shroom? It’s not super tight but it is holding it to the rock. Amazing Coral with nice colors and big bounces so don’t want to kill it. Here are pics.
Any advice would help. Thanks.

Attach rubber band loosely. Looks like a gump mushroom but hard to tell under heavy blue light

It is pretty loose. Not strangulating. What’s a gump mushroom?

I took it off the rubber band and put it in a cup with rubble.

I used mesh and draped it over the shroom with a clear cup over it with a bunch of holes, worked quite well and didnt squeeze the shroom to hold it down. Gave it a week and it attached to a 3" frag disc. With the cup over it i pinched the cup with my scraper i use to clean my glass.

Thanks. It’s really colorful and has some small bounces on it. Should be attached and moved soon. Any clue what kind of shroom it is? Lfs has a couple more too.
