Bounce Shroom Progress

ive had it for little over a month, the first week i got it.. it was starting to deflate .. now its just the same but not as puffy.. i put it in another bounce in the same location.. and it did not deflate

Do you have a pic? sometimes direct flow can stress them out as well as too much light.

its not hit with direct flow at all, it might be lighting but my radio g3 pro is only at 20 percent..on 20k... i just miss his puffyness =[

1st is before and 2nd is like a week after, as you can see the bubble seemed to shrink.. and only one side of the mushroom is still a little puffy on the right

After looking at the pics. It might be Water > Lighting/flow. Ive noticed the bubbles on my shroom puff really big the day after a water change. Try dosing some trace elements. What salt do you use?

my water and flow should be fine. only thing i can think of is lighting but darwin had the mushroom under kessils, so i think it should be fine transferring to a radion on 20%
i had done 2 water changes every since i got it, nothing magical, i use aquavitro salinity

I have a uranium as well. Even with urs deflated it actually looks more puffier than mines

Omg i used Aquavitro also. I switched to RedSea Pro and all shrooms looked like they were on steroids lol

hmm was yours puffy before though?.. its properly just my uranium alone cause all my other bounce shrooms to fine

oh wow... is there a reason why u switched?.. loving the mushroom land =].. also when you switch.. did your parameters change?.. i hate how sensitive aquavitro is.. and how you gotta use it almost immediately or else alk drops.. does red sea do that?

Yea I think its probably in the uranium's nature. I would check back in another month and see progress. its probably taking a little longer to get settled.

Aquavitro was good when I was dosing. I was able to adjust and control my Alk along with Cal, mag etc but when i built my shroom tank I didnt need to dose so I chose RedSea since the Alk is already set to 11dkh which was perfect. Theres a good balance and elevated level of natural elements in the salt mix as well. I believe 2-6 hours of mixing is preferred also.

^_^ yea i am actually dosing 2 part .. sometimes i wish i can get rid of everything and just keep shrooms.. how often you change water? would love to see your tank :xd:

I do weekly water changes. My shroom tank is only 20g so i can do 30% water change easy and yes ill show you the tank some day. Im Ryan btw.

Im in the process of building another DT and i just took down my corner reef tank and transferred most of the shrooms to the 20g. Im probably going to start another thread journal on my progress
