Bounce splitting

My neptune seems splitting about halfway. But I just noticed it has some mucus and what appears like guts hanging around it. This normal?

Can you post a picture? Pretty normal to see guts when they split, I can't say I've ever seen mucus though.

I cleaned it up and did a quick dip in revive. Seems doing well and almost done with split. Bubble are a little deflated tho.

Yeah, its my first time with shrooms splitting. Most of my shrooms just drops babies. So I am wondering if it is normal for their guts to be exposed when theu split.

Correction its not neptune, it is a Sunkist. Not sure now if it looks okay, maybe I should move it to the sunbed.

Mushroom did not make it. No idea what happened but took it out when it did not look any better in case it was sick. Is there such this as failed split? It was doing well until I noticed it was starting to split.

Oh man, i'm very sorry your mushroom didn't make it. Is anything else in your tank showing signs of being unhealthy?
I hope someone with a little more experience with shrooms can provide their two cents here.
