Hello, Three of my six fish are scratching and bouncing off the rocks. I can't see anything on them, so I'm thinking its flukes and not ich or velvet. Is there a way to be sure before I treat?
Unfortunately removing them isn't an option, so has anyone had experience treating this in a DT?
Blood orange clown
Snowflake eel

Four stripe damsel
Royal gramma
Lawnmower blenny

Forgot to mention they are all eating, but acting stressed, hiding etc....
Thanks

Check their gills. Look up freshwater dipping for flukes. This would confirm. IMO, flukes seem to be a somewhat common parasite in the hobby.

I had a wrasse that I suspected had some kind of fluke. You can treat the tank with prazi pro. I haven't had any issues after 2 treatments a few days apart (over a year ago & wrasse is fine with no weird activity). Corals were fine after. Your skimmer will go nuts though. I still ran it & let it overflow to oxygenate the water.

Pic please?

I'll second a freshwater dip for anyone you can easily catch.

Is this a brand new tank with a brand new crew of fish, BTW?

What have you been feeding them?
