The premade hood was too exspensive, and rather blah lol.
The blue is thin plexiglass (so it would curve with the doors) and i faux painted it with a mixture of glue and acrylic paint. One tablespoon of school glue + 2-3 drops of what ever color you want of acrylic paint. Dab it on so it makes the pattern, let dry. To get the correct shape i laid the piece of plywood on top of the tank and traced the edge, plus a 2" overhang on the front to support my doors.
I did a similar one on my 220, but it looks more like stained glass, and not a bowfront:
