Not being happy ive decided to add more rock. I hate to do this cuz its just starting to clear up a little.

Ill clean this rock and add it. Hopefully come up with something better i like.

Ordered 2 sicce micro pumps. I got the plus models. I didn't get the mini mouse or 0.5 model. These will be a vast improvement on the rio800+'s I have running currently that sound like a rock tumbler under water.

Turns out i did get the sicce 0.5 pumps. After reviewing my order...seems i went with the risky choice as usual.
Hope they fit and work out.

Tank cleared up. Carbon i ran. Cycled i think. Im gonna go 3months and than call.it cycled. Lol. Not established but cycled.

Tank has had some additions. LR piece from petco. 4 scarlet red hermits. 2 chromis wanna b damsels.
O...and the skimmer broke in.

Carbon had been in the tank prob 4days now or so. The videos are 3 days apart.
Its wed. I will not b working the weekend and will hopefully pull it out before than or on saturday.

1st corals are coming too. Lil early but they are test coral. We will c.

Im gonna watch my alk. 4 pieces are stoney. Cal and mag will b ok i think depending on how much alk i see go.

I swapped those pumps out. Way better. Now i can here the skimmer air pump humming!
Ive had fish in a week. Coral couple days. So not long.
I am getting my diatom bloom now.

Hey thxs! I didn't know if anyone was even looking at this. LOL.
Corals all seem to be doing ok. Gonna test today temp, salt, and alk. With an old test kit just to see wat I get or a reading. Than ill get a new one and compare.
Testing the test kits exp date. LOL

I set it up with maintence in mind. I can take the ligh and move it and pull everything out and place in a 5gal bucket. Give a good scrub dwn. Rinse everything in the old nasty sw. Do the small wc to replenish some cal and mag...

Today is Monday. Gonna go home and clean up the house. Hopefully pick up around the tank and put some sw stuff away. Ill get a nice new FTS hopefully today for u all.

chalice coral. I used to have a 8" or so diameter piece of this. Glad to have it again.


The current light I'm using. I might get a lil lash out or back lash on this one... its a 4bulb 24w each oddsyea fixture. This was my very 1st light and I'm back to using it! lol. This black is peeling and revealing the metal underneath. Gonna re vamp with a peeling or scrubbing and prime and re paint. Gonna use the plastic dip paint stuff the young ppl are using on their car rims now days.


Finally the fixture still is using the original bulbs it came with. I lent the fixture out to another hobbyist with ATI bulbs in it. Well didn't get em back... lol. Sometimes I h8 ppl.
Those plus the 8 48" ones I need for the big tank, well....I'm over $200 prob in just bulbs.
:/ ahhh the costs of having a reef tank in ur home.

Get new t5 or t8 bulbs. Watever these lil tube lights r. Lol
Ati. Going two purple. Two blue.
Ill be getting 7 bulbs i think just to try em out.
Get auto top off. Nano. Dosent matter. Something. Never had one. Cant wait.

Tanks doing good. Made some alk dose this morning. Cleaned up a bit.

Btw. I have too many fish! This next wc. Im gonna pull the rock and take the two blue damsels out that i initially cycled with. :/
They r kool and i would love to keep the smaller one but cant. :/ suks! My bad.
Gonna take em to a LFS and give em to em.
