Boxfish!!!

Hello! I will have a 65 gallon mixed reef, is there any small type of boxfish that could live in it permanantly? Thanks!

I wanted one a while back , researched a lot. I would possibly recommend the yellow box fish , tho they do get pretty large extremely fast if well taken care. But boxfish do release a poisonous substance, called ostracitoxin, from its mucous glands which will kill other fish fairly quickly.

What causes them to do this? Stress?

sometimes it’s being spooked or alarmed. But also threatened
