It looks so bright under leds. I'm definitely going to have to refit my hood to put some blue leds under it. My tank runs closer to white for growth but I'd like it to look pretty too :smile:

Haha, thanks Frank. I just used the LEDs for the picture. Typically I just run a 4 bulb T5 Tek Light and pull out the LED for casual viewing and photos.

It definitely glows under the LEDs, but I will take a real life color one tomorrow with my D90.

Figured I'd add my growth shots since I first added it to my tank. I fragged it once (both frags lost due to a very large and active turbo snail) so it would actually be larger now if I'd left it alone. It's definitely my favorite piece and a must have for any chalice collector and coral lover :bigsmile:

May 10th 2011 (finally happy, growing 5 new eyes in the last month). Weird thing is that 3 grew so close together they are turning into one large eye.

So in one year it covered the hole disk. Thats pretty slow IMO does any one get good growth out of there's mine grows real well i must say.

only because I fragged it after 6 months. if i'd left it alone it would have been bigger.

I joined the club a little while ago....

Been feeding as much as it will eat. The two larger eyes are beginning to split into individual eyes too!

This is my second colony of the BPC FT. I sold the first one I grew out. This is a grow out of an original frag from Katrina locally. Recently acquired these two.
