hey folks, I'm doing a frag tank 36L x 24W x 14H with a corner overflow. do you think I should do a center brace or is it not needed for this size tank? was thinking of using 1/4" or 3/8" glass.
What are your much appreciated thoughts?

With the height of the tank I would. 3/8 glass I would use a 2 inch rim to keep the center from bowing and failing in the corners. If you went for 7/16 to a half I would say you would be safe.

That is a hard call for most, since they have not DIYed a tank including myself. The next tank I would like to DIY just to do it though;) possibly getting this back to the top of the list, some others will jump in and offer some more suggestions.

Have a good one:)

I usually do my own tanks but they are always 18" up so I was wondering if the short height would have allowed me to not brace.
i'll prob do thicker glass and just not brace depending on the price difference.
thanks though, very much appreciated :D
