Braces are not holding properly

Grill - impressive build - love the industrial looking braces. Ambitious to build your own glass tank - nice work!

Back when on a previous 6ft tank, I did a similar bracing setup, but I bonded the edge of each brace to the inside front and back glass, I also added a bit of silicone seam under each brace for a bit more surface area. once all set up, it did not detract from the overall look.
