Hey guys I have two marsaqua led lights to put up and I’m not sure what kind of bracket to use any ideas?? I can build one as well if that’s easier

Canopy, no canopy, from the wall, ceiling or attached to the stand. What are you looking for?

I have a canopy but it’s only 5 1/2 inches so I can’t attach the lights to them as it recommends 12-16 inches I’m fine with it attaching to the wall preferably to the stand but wall will work

Here's an idea I've had for some time, but haven't had a chance to build one. Install a shelf above the tank and mount the lights to the bottom of the shelf. Now install a skirt around the lower part of the shelf to cover the fixtures. This could simply be 1/4 plywood. It would have the look of a floating canopy with shelf storage on top.

To mount my Mars Aqua (note, this is an old fixture and don't know if they are the same as new ones), I used the four little nubs with the holes in them to bolt to aluminum angle that I got from HD. The other part of the angle was drilled and bolted to the wood.

An easier way to mount is to pick up four L brackets and using the bolts on the side of the fixture, bolt up the L brackets. Now bolt to the wood shelf.
