Ok so i know this isnt a salwater question but im dying to know if i can put a figure 8 puffer in my molly tank, i have a 10 gallon molly tank with 5 mollies amd 3 live plants, i put in a little bit of salt to bring the salinity up to a 1.003 on my hydrometer, will the puffer eat the mollies, i have one in there that i have had for a year dont want to lose

brackish fish do best in water with a salinity of 1.015, figure 8 puffers will (should) be fine with mollies

(thinking the wrong puffer, green spotted puffer can survive full saltwater)

Well i have heard mollies to only live 7 momths in full salt water, but 5 mollies and a puffer in a 10 gallon with freshwater plants at a salinity of 1.015 is fine?
