Brain Coral? Identification Assistance

I picked up this skeleton off from the beach, I believe off coast of Wilmington, NC:

I have always loved this pattern/design, and I would like to have one of these or similar in my tank. I have done some research and I think it is a type of Brain Worm Platygyra Coral, but not 100% sure, does anyone know specifically? The skeleton I have doesn't appear to be a crusting, but more of a mounding type.

I am a newb so please let me know if I can provide any additional information or details to help with the identification.
