Hello all,

just bought a tank off someone that came with this brain coral, however looks unhappy with die back, any tips to look after it would be great! Less light, more light, feed it?

low light for now

So try and clean away the algae? Would want to damage the already sickly looking stuff

place some snails on it ,and repeat until clean,NO CRABS

Moderate light and water flow. Heavy blue on lighting and feed 2-3x per week and start it at bottom of tank
Salinity range of 1.025-1.026 and temperature of 78 deg

This is going to be related to chemistry. I would not feed it unless you see a feeding response. Keep it low in the tank and don't mess with the lighting. Focus on keeping chemistry consistent including salinity.

Thanks everyone! Appreciate the help.
It did respond slightly to the feed. The other corals seem happy, so hopefully once I get the salt level back they will pick up, I assume moving the tank would have ticked them off slightly the snail must be on the forum, helping me out!!
