Brain coral

Had this coral in my 5gal nano and was doing good always noticed it puffed up and feeding but also had a pistol shrimp in same tank so it was always rearranging the sand bed and pushing brain around so decided to move it to my more stable tank and hasn’t opened up in about 2 weeks. Color is still good and been trying to feed it reefroids to tice it to open up. Any suggestions? I

I'm guessing different chemistry from tank to tank might be the culprit.

Or simply don't physically move the coral around too much. Let it "acclimatize" for the short haul and it should be fine

Yeah very little all my tanks run same chemistry. Only real diff is the lighting. The nano it was in had a basic led light and in the new tank runs radion!

Yeah think it just got bumped around to much in the smaller tank with all the rearranging the pistol shrimp did.

That could do It! Maybe pick a low light area to just let him acclimate.

Mine doesn't like light, maybe the radions are a touch too strong. Can you find it a shady spot?

I noticed last night it puffed up feeding. But think I’m gonna have to def move it.
