Brain help

I have had a brain coral ( not sure what kind ) for about 4 months. at first the bottom was a Paler color and the top was bright but now the bottom is bright and the top seems to be bleaching. If anyone has advice please let me know

It's under a 4x54 watt t5 and don't they feed either way when I feed my fish? If not how would I feed it?

How old/new are your bulbs, and how long do you run them? Are they on timers?

It looks like the bottom is bleaching do u have a sand bed?

The whites are on 8 to 6 and the blues are on 7 to 7 and yes I do have a sand bottom. The lights are 5 months old

Oh okay try puting it mid way down brains don't like high light

The first picture was when it was near the lights and I changed them to about 4 inches off the bottom for the past week. It's dies not look like its getting worse but it doesn't seem to be getting better either.. Should I place it where there is a little, like close to a rock formation on the bottom?
