Is the skeleton shared or separate in-between the lobs?

Shared corallite walls = Lobophyllia sp.

Separate corallite walls = Symphyllia sp.

The skeleton is not visible at all as of now.

The difference between lobo and symphyllia skeleton walls is visible even with flesh. What evolved was pointing out is the larger outer ring . In symphyllia they look more like a maze stop and start in several places. In lobo it may twist and turn but is one complete piece. Even this is hard to determine. Since on a lobo the outer ring may appear to look like the outer ring on symphillia and vice versa. If you search lobophyllia and symphyllia pictures online you can see the difference in the way the outer, puffier ring moves. To me it looks like a lobophyllia. But there is not a big contrast in color between your outer ring and inner rings .
