Brain is coming off??

I have a brain in my nano and it is coming off the skelton it is been that way for 6-8 months it gets big but just floats around.Any ideas on how to get it to grow back on??

Nitrate are fine I do a 5g water change weekly on it.

I had a similar incident happen many years ago. The brain will separate from its skeleton in poor water quality environments hoping to settle out in a nicer neighborhood.If conditions are right it is at this very moment laying down calcium for a new skeleton within its flesh which should soon weight it down enough to stop the floating about .

Fine like 5 ppm, or like 100 ppm?
Where do you keep your SG, and do any of your parameters change often or are they fairly stable and consistent?

Looks like your brain is astrally projecting. Reality must not be so great for it. major water change needed, slowly.

+1 on the WC then get new brain, cuz that is gonna take years to look normal again.
