Branch hammer

So I just got my branch hammer coral and my cleaner shrimp went right after it due to being in some new water it slimmed up! My shrimp went to clean mode on it and messed him up. I literally just got it today is he going to survive and expand ? I know it may take some days especially after the beat down. Let me know please

It looks like it still has most of it’s tissue attached. I’d give it an iodine dip and put it back in.

Honestly man, given past expierence, once skunks aka cleaner shrimps get the taste for coral, they will always munch on coral. I would trade him back to the lfs for a sexy shrimp

Yes keep an eye on your cleaner shrimp when you put it back in. Keeping him well fed can help. Good luck!

That’s what I plan on doing I’m taking back cleaner shrimps and 2 emerald crabs cause the crab is picking at my zoa polys too. So annoying

ill see what they got. I only got the cleaner shrimp and the crabs to clean up algae and some small aiptasia I saw

The hammer is already starting to come out but that one side the shrimp cleaned on is a goner lol..

That they where glad I got rid of them I won’t lie though I kept one cleaner shrimp and he hasn’t bothered anything
