Branching Duncan issue ?

I have had this duncan since it was only 5 heads. It has always been healthy but now there is 2 heads sided by side that are retracted. It has been this way for 2 weeks and nothing has changed in the tank. Any idea if this us cause for concern and if so, why?

Nothing else has this. This duncan has always been in the same location and has always been over shadowed by itself. The only thing that has changed is the water quality is clearer as phosphates (not a lot) are completely undetectable now and my ph is now good and stable (used to be at 7.8). It is also fed twice a week with homemade frozen coral food.

I am having a different issue with zoa nudis from a new zoa that apparently didn't come completely clean after dipping.

Well then if phosphates and ph are the two big changes, I'd assume it was too fast of a change for the Duncan? What other kinds if coral do you keep? Zoa nudis aren't known for chowing down on Duncan's so the only thing I can think it would be is change in water chemistry.
