My branching frogspawn has been growing, but also has whitish spots on it. The spots have me rather worried. Is this bleaching? An illness? Or could it be completely normal? I'm a total newbie to salt water and finding my way.

Parameters:
29 degrees Celsius, 1.025 salinity, 8.2pH. Low flow tank, but have it up high to get a little more flow on it. 6hrs a day light. Phytofeast 2Xs/week. 30gal tank.

I am not sure if it is an issue or not, they look great to me! Decent colour, nice extension... seems fine...

In my experience, frogspawn, hammer and torch are hardier than candy cane, at least for the varieties I have.

Possibly where the algae has been eaten off the skeleton by snails etc. Nothing I would have any concern about. That part is basically "dead" anyway.

Update on the branching frogspawn: I moved the favia closer to it, and the frogspawn does NOT like the favia. I had to move them away from each other again. She is back to growing quite nicely, with new little shoots on her main branches.
