Branching Green Hammer Coral Help

I'll move it to a lower light area in the morning, I haven't noticed them messing with the coral itself. I did see one of the smaller ones eating algae off of the plug early. I have another running tank I can move then too if need be.

Not to hijack your threat but my wall hammer is in trouble too. Debating I should cut it again or just dip it and leave it. Started melting away like brown jelly disease

Start a new thread so people can see the pic and comment. No one knows this is in here but the people who have replied.

JC I don’t think it’s the light, especially given the short amount of time it was there.

There’s already a post about this. But I was just sharing my situation here. Go check it out.

If it were polyp bailout, wouldn't the polyps be somewhere in the tank? I would also consider that something could have eaten the flesh off the skeleton...

Just an update, late yesterday I notice some flesh and a small green polyp showing. This morning it was cleaned out. I read on reefcleaners.com that the thin stripped hermits were reef safe, so I moved a small population out of my predator tank. That was the only other new addition and after NotASpammerDude said something may have ate it I investigated. After further reading I found a lot of other sites are saying they are not safe, so I'm hoping this may have been the issue. Moving them back to the predator tank and going to try again in a few weeks. Thanks again for all the help and suggestions.
