Hi,

Does anyone have more indepth knowledge with branching hydroids?

Can they be deep in the sand bed?

I am planning to treat my DT and HOB refugium with Fenb.
Going to remove all livestock and put in temporary tank.

Maybe stir up the sand during treatment?

They and the medusal stage should not burrow no.
The “should “ sense the chemical signals on rock and surface sand

If I put a sponge in my current tank that has hydroid infestation, will that sponge carry hydroids to new tank?

I wanted to use the sponge to speed up cycle process.

It’s possible if the sponge is in a high flow area.

I would just use dr tims or fritzyme.
