What’s the best way to service jebao powerheads? The ones I got for the 40b push basically zero flow now, my Xenia doesn’t even move They aren’t coated in coraline or anything but they just don’t push water like they use to. Any tips appreciated.

same as every other tool. Vinegar overnight, then power wash it with a 9000psi pressure washer! LOL

It’s not calcium deposits though, I’m thinking it’s organic, in that case vinegar would make it worse.

True true. What kills cells quicker? Bleach or peroxide? Looking to do a quick dip, rinse, back in business approach. My other powerheads have never had this issue, makes me kinda regret getting the jebaos, everyone said they were so good though.

If you want a quick dip, rinse & back in use - I would try peroxide. Bleach could get inside of the housing and you might not be able to rinse it all out immediately. Peroxide wouldn't matter if not all was immediately removed, IMO. I would think bleach would do a better job though.

I'd use peroxide. Bleach can break down equipment very quickly.

I always run vinegar in a bucket of water. Never considered hydrogen peroxide

Soak in 50/50 vinegar for about and hour then turn it on while still in the solution. Let it run about 150 more minutes. Use and old toothbrush on the stubborn stuff.

Vinegar will dissolve the organics.
