Going home today. I'm trying not to stress about it.

Man, what a trip! You sure don't want to get back home and discover you forgot the fish food! Hoping that is not your only fish store option. That would be like me having to drive to Chicago from where I am. That is not even fathomable to me.

Other option is to fly to Dubai ,
BTW most of the equipment , dry foods I buy and ship from the USA.
The salt I can get locally from pet shop in Jeddah , 600 miles away, they have free shipping for salt.
I had a licence to import fish and corals directly from Indo and Philippines, however I stopped importing after the indo ban. Currently I get Most of my new corals and fish are from a fish store in Dubai
Other Option Is Bahrain, 350 miles away, but hard to find healthy stock

We are leaving without a reef for mom and dad. Reality is, they are not really able to care for it. My mom is quite confused at times and my dad is weak. Good news. I have a flight booked for spring break 2020.

I will have to quit complaining that the closest LFS to me is 65 miles away. Plus, I am only two hours away from lots of nice reef stores in Houston.

So glad you already have another trip planned. Important for Hippie Kid too. My grandparents were some of the most important people in my life. I can't even imagine where I would be now without them.

We used to have great LFS where I live, especially when the hobby was young back in the 80s. The internet put them out of business and the last one we had burned last year.

The one that got me back in the hobby (after a brief hiatus) was located between my house and my office, which was only three miles away. I stopped by almost every day on my way home. They even had free cold beer for customers, so it was like happy hour at the fish store.

Safe trip, grandparents are very important to kids. my kids are very attached to my parents.

I still have the scopas scopas, it is still in the cube end with the clowns, the handbags with the flame angel got a bit drunken wild.

try driving 1000 miles from Riyadh to Dubai where there is only flat sand all the way, and all that to get a fish or a coral frag lol

You need a small airplane....cost less than some of the cars you love.....just a thought.
