Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

@Hemmdog I think it was you. I added 30 lbs more to the tank. Most had been removed from trying to clean the sand bed. Now I use a turkey baster. So I should loose less sand.

I had to pull about three gallons out. I think its 10 lbs of sand equals 1 gallon of water displacement.

Ahhh yea, oolite.

I went to a freind's house today to look at his new reef. He was the lucky one I mentioned months back that placed a 10¢ Superfecta bet on the Kentucky Derby and won $5,600. He put the money to good use. NIce looking Planet Aquarium 150. Kind of got my reefing juices flowing again looking at it.

Lucky. I service nursing homes , day cares, schools and assisted living places. My first few years on the job I was always sick. Now hardly get sick.

Thet had to be rough to work through. I only want to sleep until the illness is gone nowadays

I used the same stuff. I wish it didn't blow around in the flow so much, but i like Gobys and the like so they win.

Do you think gobys really need the oolite or can they be happy with something like fiji pink? Even the pink blows around a ton and I'd hate to see what oolite does.

One of my 4 concrete tiki sculptures. I may have shared this before in a night time shot. I don't remember. Sorry if I am being redundant. The yard doesn't look like this now, since the wife has had all of her health issues. She was the green thumb of the family. She still piddles at it, but can't do much now.

My gobys sift fine in special grade so they 100% would be fine with Fiji pink if you want that small of grain.

My gobys sift fine in special grade so they 100% would be fine with Fiji pink if you want that small of grain.

Really I was hoping for Tropic Eden but I'm not sure of the grain sizing. Although the Fiji would be MUCH cheaper lol

Tropic eden is a little smaller than special grade. Get that, that stuff is the best!

Felt horrible to go to a day care with strep I had to wasps and allergic kids means I have to save lives. Called them after doc office visit to tell them I had strep.
