Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

are they invasive or just like any other sponge?
come and go. Usually see them in new tanks. Nothing bad just a sponge most of the time in dark areas.

The rule of thumb is cryptic sponges are good. Ones that grow in the light are questionable. They can over grow stuff. Ones that are bought for the tank are usually harmless

After your posts earlier, just please wash your hands first, LOLOL!

Oh no! What happened? I've been working all day on moving my reef tank and adding the sand that I missed this. I'm so sorry. That really sucks!

On a more serious note, I've seriously been struggling with a sump design for my new build. I think I'm settled finally but still have my doubts. This new build is honestly way out of my wheelhouse and I'm not sure of which equipment or filtration methods I want to implement.
