Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

IDK yet I may drill them tomorrow one on each side.
Run single return and then have it T at the top of the tank going to each hole?
I see. Well don’t ask me lol, mine sounds like some sort of steampunk machine. Recently it has been blasting bubbles in addition to the noise and I can’t figure out why. Not micro bubbles, big bubbles but then the powerheads chop them up and make micro bubbles.

My thought is run dual returns thru 1" bulkheads on each side and then short loc-line nozzles on the inside, directly connecting to those bulkheads.
That should put them about 1/2" under the water line and if there's any issues with short section of loc line the nozzles could be adjusted up/down to fine tune the back siphon in case of power outage.?!

That sounds good. You can also try to split the return through a Y the out to a 45 on each side to avoid a 90

Sorry about the godawful drawing lol

That was the idea, just not sure if I wanna Y further down or T at the top.
Y may be a better choice, since it's best to never run straight horizontal lines

That’s what I was thinking. I’m probably going to do that if I do a dual return in the future.

Better yet I may run a very short 1" pvc pipe connecting the return bulkhead to a RFG nozzle on each side instead of loc line.
Great idea! I run two off the return in my ATO and they work excellent.

Do Y loc lines with 4 RFG’s. That would be the most versatile I feel. I want to redo mine to that eventually.

@Robin Haselden you leave your powerheads on to feed, right?
Yea, return pump is on 10 minute feed but I leave all the power heads on. Corals like eating too and it spreads the food out so the clowns and melanarus dont eat it all in one gulp.

Well post some pics of your plumbing and we'll get it figured out. ;Bookworm;Bookworm

What he said, vids are better...

This is my second favorite female lead song (I already tributed Janis). I went for the live version even though the quality is lower because frankly this song should be raw. Audio is fine.
