Moe, from his book 30 years ago, suggests the substrate should be 2-4mm particles and 2” thick for an undergravel filter. FWIW.

That was another concern. With only 15" height, I was afraid that might be an issue.

Speaking of people on social security, took the girlfriend out to McBee, SC to the McLeod Farms peach orchard. We bought a 1/2 bushel of china pearl peaches, some black berries, peach bread and a bottle of Carolina peach bbq sauce. We also had lunch and dessert! I had a BLT and she got the BBQ sandwich. Dessert we got a peach enchilada and a peach milkshake.

While we were there, I felt like I was the only one that wasn't getting a social security check. I think yesterday was like the gathering of the geriatrics.

2004, 3rd owner, 196k miles, 18mpg if you're lucky, can fit that tiny matchbox in the bed and still get 14mpg
