I couldn't say. I don't know much about sps. In truth I'm a little terrified about the encrusting gorgonian my friend is sending me.

That is what I was thinking. The green Anacropora I had was also really hardy and grew fast even though it was off to the side, out of direct light. I liked that it was thin branched. Only thing is it does not encrust, so it needs to be affixed very securely.

Montipora capricornis, If I cant kill it.... its bullet proof. Grows fast also, this red one is almost daily I can see new growth.

I'm not aware of a yellow coral in my tank? I had a really crappy filter in that video so colors were off. Could you tell me where it is? Maybe I can figure out which one you're talking about.

@Katrina... I bet you're talking about this one...

That's a Montipora spongodes, and is a yellowish green. More green than yellow tho. It has a very neat growth pattern, once it has encrusted a good bit, it will start to plate out, and then branch up. Its encrusting, plating and branching all in one coral. With all that growth going on, it can take up a lot of room. Here is a top down.

The two nubs in the middle are from the original frags, the left and right sides are starting to plate out.
