Yes I would run heavy carbon. Also it takes a lot of phosphates go break down dead dino cells.

I've come to the realization I can't keep sps alive, not buying anymore until I have a more stable dedicated sps tank, maybe someday. I love lps/softies too much!!!
I'll get a neptune trident, set it and forget it!!!

I think it’s smart as well. Those toxins really do a lot of harm. They killed my old Duncan, I miss the dude still.

Dino wiped out all my lps. The only thing to survive was my leather , gsp and shrooms

I'm right there with you. SPS is beyond me. I have been planning another tank this week... wheels are turning. LPS, rock flowers and zoas dropoff. "Massively Miniature Menagerie." It wont be too long but I'll have to save up some funds. Maybe this spring.

I am going to love it and I will give it a month. I do not target feed corals really any more. Only if they appear to be struggling.
