Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

So instead of doing a sump fuge I’m turning the 10g into a display fuge next to the tank. Who is good with plumbing layout that can help me design and plan everything out

Do you have a sump already? If so you can set up the 10g slightly lower than the main display, have your overflow go into the display fuge and then the overflow from the fuge go into your sump.

Oh yeah it’s Lower. My sump is a 20l. I was originally think about having it go from overflow in dt to sump to return to half fuge and half dt. Fuge drains back into return chamber

Wait but then the water from the fuge will have to go straight to the return chamber because the pods will get filtered out in the skimmer

You could run a second line from your return into the fuge... like this.

@Will Godfrey I know you said you needed some carbon. Are you using purigen and carbon? Show me what size you want.

Better. A lot more zoas opened yesterday. Gsp is about 50% open and Xenia still looks mad. The neon leather is finally looking good.

So what you're saying is you'll be ready for some frags soon.

What lights should I try to save for to be used on the 40b. Either hydra 26hd x2, radion g4 xr15 g4 x2 or kessil a360we x2 or another lighting suggestions. Mainly an sps tank. Also I get the hydras for $250 and radions for $300 a peice and the kessils will also be around $300 each

Are you set on those? I see lots of people going the T5 hybrid route. Not sure what would be the best. Lighting is a bit above my head.
