Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Ok guys. Newbie needs advice. For the new tank...live rock only or mix dry and live? I prefer live, but I have a large dry rock that is nice too.

Personal preference. Many reefs use dry and many use live. l prefer live and have more success with live. But 1 dry rock isn’t going to do harm.
 
If you have time , cure the rock with the rest of it.
If you have enough live for the mix it’ll cycle just fine for the fish. , more sensitive corals may not like the big dry one.

That’s how reefer 80g spiked his 14g.

Looks like I won’t be on here much with the repeal of net neutrality when it comes into affect. Also I had to go get a new iPhone 8 yesterday because my camera has been all messed up. I haven’t even owned it for a month and a half

What makes you say that? So far zero change. Interested to see how it plays out though.
