A single aquarium copepod may eat from 11,000 to 373,000 diatoms in 24 hours and so are very useful along with rotifers to control a diatom outbreak in the aquarium.

that makes 4.6 diatoms a second lol

Pods and phyto are the beginning of the food chain... very beneficial, cant overdose.

My carpenter's flasher wrasse flashed for the first time today...
Wow, how amazing looking he is when he flashes!!
He went from his normal red to a vibrant orange color with yellowish orange on the bottom half with all the fins stuck out big.
I think he likes Dory, he flashed at her multiple times throughout the day today, just amazed they can change colors like that!!

I see them on the glass at night usually. I honestly don't see any aiptasia in the tank. I assume they are eating babies too small to see.
