how long was that ?
April until now. I know not amazing. Have to look and see when I got rid of the current usa lights and went with kessils cause thats when it really took off. When I move them over to the softie tank the little guy on the right says he wants to got to Katrina's to live.

Looks great! I miss my chromis.
Also like to note that softies are seriously underrated.

yeah , they can be frustrating though , but when they get nice they are such a reward!!!

I know exactly what you mean. I had a giant colt coral that seemed like it would never stop growing, then over a few days it just melted :(

that or a sarcophyton not wanting to open for months lol

So I will periodically let my glass get dirty on purpose to make sure all the cuc gets plenty to eat. I got these crazy macro shots today, and realized I’m not sure what I took a picture of! I always assumed it was some sort of baby pod, but now I’m really unsure. (They are maybe 1/10” wide)

Vlamingi tang. There is one at the LFS I was at yesterday... 300 deep dimension I believe. 48x36x24. He doesn't have a horn tho, just a hump. It's been there for a while.
Sounds like the saltwater equivalent of a flowerhorn
