I seriously thought about the oolite but got a little concerned about flow... Fiji Pink will be great for sand dwellers as well so I'm happy. I've used Fiji pink from the beginning and it's served me well thus far

All this talk about sand...I’ve got this bag just sitting here...it’s larger grains though. Impulse buy months ago, my thinking was that it would end up underneath the fine stuff anyway? Or would it look ugly?

Just that in higher flow it might get blown around really easy. My Tang will have a treadmill of sorts in the form of an MP40 on the one long side and a 1000+ GPH return on the other. For me it was a concern so I just grabbed the Fiji Pink because I know it will hold up reasonably well.

I was actually thinking about the Mandy and possibly a Leopard. That was why I chose something a little finer. I don't think we'll ever have a flow issue on the sandbed at 24"

I love it, very natural looking like walking on a beach or swimming near shore.
