Possibly. Haven’t had a that kind of damsel, but mine wound up burrowing. Never though they did that. He lives in a hole in the sand under a clam shell.

Ok. This is the first time I've seen him do it. He is almost making a cave under the rock.

I have one of those in my tank... his name is McLeod. I bought a "trio" of flame cardinals from the DD. Only the largest one made it out of QT and the other ones had missing scales and red marks on their sides.
